Dumb stuff...
The other day, I had dream about a friend/crush. Gahhh, these things plague you for life I guess! I was thinking: would I do the same things now with that situation? Would I jump at every opportunity to kick it? Would I offer to take HIM to lunch? To take HIM to the movies? Was I really ambitious, or hella dumb? I think a combo of both sometimes... *sigh* Mann, I even had friends tryin' to help me out... straight stumpin' for my "Hook-up '01" campaign. Sometimes, I dunno what people really want. I think both sides make the "I look for a good personality quality" argument. Some really do and are genuine about it, but I think some use it to loosely to gain sensitivity points from the person they are seeking. Same with the "I'm looking for someone independent/or with stability." Like the personality thing, the result is pretty darn similar. I think what's even deadlier is if the person you're crushin' on KNOWS you like them. They got you wide open... sometimes probably gettin' a kick out of tuggin' on your heart strings. Who knows, man. All I know is that it doesn't make you feel so good. It's weird, a few months ago, my friend came to town and asked about me... dayum! When one of my campaign managers told me this, I swear a frickin' butterfly commune to residence in my stomach. Then I started gettin' all anxious -- is my hair ok? Of all the damn days, why did I chose to wear a sweatshirt and busted tennis shoes? Gah! I was supposed to see him later in the evening, because we were gonna go to the same party. But he called at the last minute to cancel. Again, hopes up for nothin'. I'll learn my lesson someday. Not to get me wrong, some people do a really good job at "winning" their crush -- the ultimate boobie prize. While us other suckas just sit back and think about what we would do if we "do overs" were possible.
On a totally different note...
Dance class was hella fun last night... and old dancing buddy came through... yay! Oh, and some good things happenin' for the FloMotion crew... good stuffs!
