Ack! Things suck soooo bad right now! It's amazing how you don't realize how dependent you are on certain things. For example:

- Cell phones: (currently w/o one, so if you need to holla at me, call the house or drop me an e-mail). I caught the bus home, and I wanted to check in with the folks but I couldn't cuz of no cell phone. I figured, well I guess I'd search for a pay phone, but there were none in sight. I guess with the advent of cell phones and such, the amount of pay phones are less and less. I guess if there is an emergencey, you can always scream.

- gas: With low funds, I've decided that I will only use "old blue" when I need to. So don't be alarmed if you don't see me on the road very much this week, and perhaps beyond.

- cashola (in general): I am a broke-ass nowadays, and it is soooo frustrating. I'm gonna be a lunch bringing, ride bumming, homebody sister for quite some time. I'm also having a hard time find funds for school in the fall, so that is a big concern for me as well. I got my financial aid offer yesterday, and it's all loans. So all this weekend, I've been busting my hump searching for scholarships and such. I feel like such a high school senior. What really sucks is that most of the deadlines for the applications have already passed. Arggggggg!

I really hope that things get back on track soon, because this really is far from cool. I can say that this has lead me to really appreciate family and the things that I do have. And to definitely not take people and things for granted.

On to other things:

- I had a dream the other day about a friend of mine that is no longer here. I'm really worried on how they are doing, because they are in a place that has had it's share of tragedies here and there. I just pray that they are safe and well.

- I tried calling a friend that I haven't heard from in such a really long time, but to no avail. I pray that they are well too, and hope to hear from them and to know that they are ok.

- I drove a bucket from La Honda to Oakland in less than an hour flat. That drive made me appreciate "old blue" soooo much. This piece of crap had no pullig power whatsoever. I mean it couldn't pull up the freeway entrance, that's how bad it was. Let alone make it's way up into the mountains. Oh, and not to mention that the key almost broke off in the trunk opening.

- I hate passive aggressiveness. I mean I really HATE passive aggressiveness. Must find a better palce to sit in my Stat class, as well as in other situations.

Well, that's all for now. Back to my cave for further "financial hibernation."
