An eventful day...
So last night I feel asleep on the couch at around 9:30pm (yeap, Saturday nights are soooo hot!), cuz my back was kickin my ass. A clear indicator that ran was a comin. Anywhos, got up at around 10:30am so I could head to Berk to pick up some pictures I had developed. I also wanted to take a little time to see my girl Tina and chill for a spell. Dude, Berk looked like a damn bomb hit it! After a big win, I swear all the alkis take the street and I think they stay there until the next day. Soo many hung over folks... I wish I had a pot and a spoon and could just go behind random folks and just bang the hell out of it. Hahaha... now dat would have been funny :)
After I got my pics, I headed down to the flower shop to see Tee-ner. That girl works so hard and in a lot of ways, I see myself in her. She works 30hrs a week and is a full time student in psych. I really don't know how she does it. I went to Ann's Kitchen and picked up brunch for us and we just kicked at her work. Checking in about life and such. She told me that she was moving to LA in December and my heart damn near dropped into my ass. I'm having one "see ya laters" this week, and I damn sure didn't need another. Thank goodness it was a joke at my expense. Stinky girl! She is actually getting a place in Hercules, and is working hella hard for that move to be easier. Our convo ranged from school, fellas, work, family, and friends. I wish I could see her more often. It's hard to believe that she's finishing Cal in December. Dude, I met this girl when she was a freshman. My how the years roll by *sniffle, sniffle.*
Today I got another e-mail from my homegirl Stevie. I'm glad we are able to connect again. I think the idea of us wanting to pursue doctoral degrees is a death wish, but they ultimately will pan out in the end. Yippee!
Tonite I told my boy TK "see ya later." :(
No such things as good-byes with this dude, because:
a.) he owes me child support
b.) he's gonna wanna mooch off of our Tiger Woods' baby anyways
c.) he is one of the greatest people that I know
I swear friends like these are a rare find and I am so blessed to know you. I can't say enough good things about this guy. He always lends an ear when you need it, a thoughtful word when you need it, and will have you laughing your ass off. TK, you rock! If you ever need anything, don't think twice about asking :) Well, except for our kid's millions, because that shit is all mine...muhahaha!
After leaving my baby's daddy, I headed back to the east bay. But as always, I got lost!!! Dammit, thank goodness I had a full tank of gas. Damn near got lost in the boonies and shit. Ah well, I made it home safe, which is important. Now it's time for me to hit the sack, and dream about what the next day will bring.
