Breathe, stretch, and don't forget to shake...

Well, the year is almost up. Gonna say payce to 2004 in major fashion soon. This year was interesting, to say the least. Lots of emotional rollercoaster action, but definitely a learning experience. I really wanna start this year off right, and try to flush out any negativity that may come my way, or from my own production. *sigh* Life is complicated. This time of year is always tough for me -- for personal reasons. It's hard to stay positive when your emotions and visions are out of whack, and you can't really control it. Like I said, complicated.
But at 12:00am tomorrow morning, it must all end! Greater things are to come... I feel it! Well, it will, or I will go out kicking and screaming. Anywhos, I was reflecting on what was 2004, and here is what I learned:

- I love public health!
- Dance is my saving grace!
- Discerning between friends and associates (i.e. the real from the fake).
- Time is of the essence.
- Braces are a bomb ass diet plan.
- Fall 2004 was DEFINITELY 'semester heavy'.
- Tears cleanse the soul.
- Laughter warms the heart.
- Frowning is not becoming.
- Change is good.

These are just a few things, as I definitely experienced a lot -- some scarier, happier, and sadder than others -- but an experience none the less.

So, on to 2005. Here is what I want to come:
- Become a bigger, badder, and deffer public health advocate.
- Not let anyone or anything take me away from keeping the pact I made with my grandma -- I really miss her.
- Become a stronger and confident dancer.
- Be a better judge of character -- proceeding with caution.
- Make more time for KattyGirlD.
- Learn to say 'no' more.
- Do a bit more of the LIG -- i.e. letting it go.
- Travel.
- Cherish the friends that I do have.
- Watch more movies.
- Spend more time with my mom and family.
- Appreciate and respect myself more, even if others don't.
- Do a more comprehensive workout.
- Learn Spanish again.
- Begin earning more income and saving for my 2006 graduation gift to myself -- that's gonna be a treat =)
- Find someone to participate in my 2006 graduation gift to myself.
- Find a sugar daddy to pay for my gift if I can't afford too -- Just kidding... or am I... muhahaha!
- Becoming a stronger voice for those who can't speak or are ever heard.

Will think of more later... in the meantime... have a safe and Happy New Year! =)
