Life of the aged...

Man... I just realized again that in about a month and a half, I'll be 27. It doesn't help that my intern was like "Dude, you gonna be 27!!! Mannn!" Thanks. Pay cut for you my dear... remember to respect the queen... muhahaha. But I digress. It's funny how your body changes as you get older. When I was a kid, I didn't have allergies and my asthma wasn't so bad. Now my eyes and nose burn like hell, and I am well versed in all the inhaler brands and types. My back is a lot sorer lately... bleech! Feels like I've been hit with a Sagat Tiger Upper-cut in my lower spine. Shizer! And my knees... a whole 'nother story. Aside from my aches and pains, I still manage to keep a good and healthy Positive Mental Attitude (PMA)! The semester is winding down, and the MPH cohort is sticking it out. Hold it down folks! Hold it down! I am so thankful to have such great people in my corner. I am truly blessed... which leads me to...

Name dropping...

Have you noticed how people do that? "I know so and so..." or "So and so and I are long time friends..." "Or I met so and so by the way..." It's not bad or anything, well in some instances it can be. I realized, in the future I know I'm gonna be doing HELLLLLA name droppin'. All the people that I know now are so great in what they do, and they will only become even more so down the line. They are so passionate and have a drive that is gonna take them places. A friend of mine has been a great help to me about this. Just on having a new vision and not being afraid to take risks and not be afraid to open my heart and mind to so many new things. This is so refreshing! I know I'll be droppin' his name hella times in the future. ;) He's that great already, and I can't wait to see what's ahead. Same for a lot of my cohort folks. I can see so many future Senators, program directors, life changers. It's amazing. During this time of year, it get's really rough. Not just work-wise, but emotionally. Sometimes I feel so drained. But this new PMA and my "running buddy" makes things so much more easier and rewarding. I'll return to more dialog about pimpin', and other little antics and whatnot, but I just had to take a minute to appreciate.
