Oh so tired, but I guess I'll muster up the energy to blog my brains out... heehee!
This weekend, what can I say: THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!
YOU GUYS ARE DA BOMB!!!
Eli is off da hook!!! Homeboy had me dying laughing all day long! I bet he'll never say ZZ again... heehee! Thanks Momma, Tash, Jesse, D, Tuyen, Sarah, Melanie, Irene, Lan, Eli, Nabila, and Theron for coming! Much love to all!
I've been telling people how wonderful it was to have all my friends get together and socialize as if they've known each other for years. It was funny to hear people say: "Oh you're Irene/Lan/Eli/Melanie/Sarah/Nabila/etc. I've heard so much about you!" Goodness, I didn't realize how much I must mention my friends to each other. My mom told me that the ability for my friends to kick it like that is a true testament to my personality *blushing*. Ojig said the same. I must say that I am truly happy with the friends that I have now, as I can totally be myself and not worry about being judged by "so-called" friends. A bit bitter you say? I think so. I can't tell you enough about the countless "friendships" that I had in the past that just totally sucked! I look back now and say, "Dayum, what was I thinking? Why did I even hang out with them? Was I that starved for companionship?" Well the last part was a bit much, but let's face it, we've all dipped below the Mendoza line (total baseball term. i'll explain at the end) with a few "friends" every now and then. I can say now that I have some really, really, close, near, dear, special friends. I always felt that it was too difficult to pick a best friend, as each one has their own unique qualities that cannot be compared equally. Just your typical apples and oranges situation. The past week was pretty decent for a change too, as I got to hang out with some really great peoples. Laughter is the best medicine, no? Oh, and T.K. has been killin' me as usual with e-mails! Off da hook!

Mendoza line: Mario Mendoza was a baseball player in the 1970s, and for his entire career, he never hit over .245 (that's pretty low). The actual "Mendoza line" is like .200 (hella low!). So whenever some one bats below average, they're said to be near the Mendoza line... I know, I know! I'm such a nerd. So much useless baseball knowledge, it just had to go somewhere... ;)
