When do you swallow your pride? That's a question that popped into my head last night and remained for the rest of the evening. Why do you ask? Well, as I was walking out of Walgreens last night, I was approached by a woman and little girl at the entrance/exit. The woman had a distressed look on her face, so I knew she was going to ask me for some assistance of some sort. "Our car just ran out of gas right there, and I was wondering if you could spare a dollar or some change." My goodness. Honestly, I wasn't paying as much attention to the mother as I was the child.
