Hokey Smokes!

Dayum, the past few weeks have had my hands full… hardly any time to breathe. School is busy as ever, work is busy as ever, but alas… it’ll all pan out in the end. Here is a bit of an update on my many antics and shenanigans =)

So THAT’S what it’s made for…

So I went to see Dr. K yesterday and have my routine orthodontic check up, which is usually cool… but was kinda off some reason yesterday. For one thing, we started 15 minutes late, and another being that I had to wait for the head doc to come check out things too.
Head doc: “When’s your birthday coming up?”
Me: “It already passed… I had one in January.”
Head doc: *tisk* “That’s too bad.”
So he and my ortho engage in some dental gibberish for about 5 minutes, then he turn back to me…
Head doc: “I think you should invest in getting an electric toothbrush, because the ones we have here and the conventional brushing toothbrushes are crap.” (Mind you that for months I have been using the ones that they recommend, arrrg… but I digress).
Head doc cont.: “You should ask your mommy or boyfriend to buy you one, that would make for a really good present.”

Yay. So that’s what a sugar daddy is for!!! I can see it now: “Honey, can you hook me up with a really cute Oral-B 3D electric toothbrush?!?! Pleeeeeease!”
I can think of other nice things I would ask a BF for, aside from a damn toothbrush… arggg! Not to mention that he assumed that I have a BF… just had to hit that lonesome loser nerve, huh doc?!?!
They say that the dentist is usually painful… now I realllly no why…. Booo!

DDR Max 2005!
So last night, class was hella dope! I had 22 students at the gym taking the hip-hop class… it’s never been that full! It was really cool, because I had a mix of folks, young and old, all shapes and sizes, all having a good time. That made be feel good and hella energized. The dance stuff is really picking up… I held my freeze pose last week for about 5 seconds… hahaha… it’s getting better though. And the FloMotion crew is performing again on:
Saturday, March 26th, from 7:30-9:30pm at the Malonga Casquelourd Center at 1428 Alice St. in Downtown Oakland.
If you know of any dance groups looking to get exposure, let me know and I’ll give them the necessary details.

Linked to that, on Sunday, March 27, there is an 18 years and up event happening at the Caribee Dance Center, located at 1408 Webster St. in Downtown Oakland.
There is a current search for dancers and Go-Go dancers 21+, with auditions held on March 19th at the Malonga Casquelourd Center at 7:30pm.

I will be there on March 27 to shake my groove thing, and since I will be Go-Go dancing, I gotta pick out an outfit. I was thinking of performing in Harajuku Girl attire… yeah, a Black Harajuku Girl… let’s see how that pans out… hahaha =P
