So many ponderences, so little time!

There has been so much that has gone on inthe past few days, so I'll just begin:

Talk about a psychic moment. My friend Tina and I were working at a festival this past weekend, and I agreed to go get lunch for the two of us from Baja Fresh on Shattuck. As I was walking up Allaston Way, I saw this woman standing outside of a psychic reading shop and she looked so much like my friend Aimee. She had totally been on my mind as of late since she returned from her eight month journey in South America. Seeing Aimee's "twin" reminded me that I should make time to pick up the phone or send and e-mail. Before I could complete that thought, guess who comes from around the corner of the building? None other than Aimee! At first I wasn't so sure it was her, considering that I had just seen her look alike, and I didn't want to run the risk of being embarrassed as a result of mistaken identity. But it was actually Aimee! I was soooo happy to see her. We definitely have to meet up some time soon to talk about your journey, as well as hit up the hip-hop spots. I can't wait!

Remember a few blogs ago I proclaimed that I am a Northern California girl? Well, I have narrowed that down to being a Bay Area/city girl all the way. After driving back and forth to Stockton, I really appreciate my local surroundings. Although I have a car, I can't live without AC Transit and BART, or my local sports teams, or the diverse people and environments. Plus the smell of sulfur in the morning and the sight of industrial plant smoke outside my bedroom window wouldn't be too appealing.

Grrrrr... who knew that Rodney King's words were pure genius when he said, "Can't we all just get along?" I hope that Funk Addiction can get back on its feet soon, as we have to keep representing the old school and the new.

Damn it! I hate when this happens. Throughout the day, I had all of these awesome ideas and instances I wanted to share, but now I am so tired, hence my brain has turned into mush and now I can't remember what I wanted to write. I'll continue this when I am more alert.
