I feel like I am on a quest to be creative. Man, and I picked a fine time to do so. Just when I am about to commit myself to "academic prison," I've decided to get out all of my jollies before they close the cell door. This week, some friends and I are gonna studio hop in the City. It's so refreshing to see people energized by dance and movement, and their willingness to share and support one another is wonderful. This is the first time, in a long time, that I have felt like a dancer. And it's nice to be surrounded by dancers. Today, Nary straight busted out with some awesome floorwork. I was in awe! This girl has some mad skills, and I am so juiced for her. It's really rare that you see women do floorwork, and she is so graceful with it. I'd try, but with my old bones, I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to get back up...lol! My challenge to you this week is to take a quest to learn more about what you enjoy. Perhaps you will tap into an energy you never knew existed. I saw a bumper sticker that said something along the lines of: "sing like no one is listening/dance like no one is watching" I like that. Whatever you do, do it big. It's all about what makes you happy. :)
