It's amazing how a person that has no known immediate connection with you can have a profound impact on your life. How a moment that involoves the both of you, even at a distance sticks in your memory for the longest time.

I was driving to a meeting in Hayward on Friday morning
and witnessed a horrible car accident. I passed
right by it just after it occurred. A man in a
SUV was rear ended in the north bound lane,
flipped over the embankment and wound up in the
south bound lane of the highway. Many people
stopped and tried to help that man, as he was
pinned under his vehicle. I pray that the man
survived and that he will be ok. This is just
yet another sobering reminder about how precious
life is and how you should cherish it, and let
those that surround you know how much you love
and appreciate them.
