Random Ponderences…

Yesterday, my friend Ana T. and I went to a lovely Berk restaurant for a quick lunch. We ate on the patio area, which was nice, but we didn’t know that uninvited guests were welcomed. A soon after we finished our lunch, a big ass super rat ran by my purse that was on the ground. I could see it out the corner of my eye, and I was slowly convincing myself “That was a squirrel right? There are hella squirrels around here? Right??” But Ana T. had to crush my hopes by confirming, “Was that a big ass rat that just ran by?” Damn. I’m telling you, this thing must have been on steroids, and could bench press 250. It was huge! About the size of a small kitten – or big enough to eat one. I wonder how many leftovers it makes off with per day?

Next week is the last week for one of my intern Lee. She’s leaving us for bigger and better things – which means I need to make the most of squeezing the very last bit of her until the very last end. I’ll miss being able to push her around and have her do the stuff that I don’t wanna do… hehe. In all seriousness, I’m gonna miss her and I know that she will be great in her medical endeavors. The last time I saw her, she did the running man to entertain me… who wouldn’t miss that?

It turns out that all of my classmates have projects that were accepted by APHA! Sweet! Which is in New Orleans this year. Hella sweet! I’ll be sure to bring my camera for blackmail… err, to capture the memories. =)

I’d say more, but this week was hella slow and my brain is in school mode. In the meantime, have “happy, happy, happy” and safe weekend!
