How I would label Cal Republicans based on highly emotional instinct: Simple minded bastards!!!!
The logical approach: The UC Berkeley Republicans have unfounded merit in their disagreement with the Affirmative Action issue, as well as with their view on tobacco industry promotion and investment on the Cal campus. My friend Lan and I were traveling up and down Sproul to see if anyone was interested in signing a petition to get the Philip Morris Company off of the Berkeley campus. Lan made the horrible mistake of asking one of the Cal Republicans to fill out a survey. Oh damn! This guy said that he refused to sign the petition because we are in an economic crisis (true) and need funding anyway that we can get it (sorta agree, but there are options, keep talking...). He goes on to say that he is anti - anti- tobacco (I thought the use of double negatives were wrong, but I digress), because it infringes upon smoker's rights (hmm...). He says that smokers on campus now have to huddle up in the rain 15ft away from the building, and/or smoke next too pedophiles, drug dealers, and prostitutes ( Jigga what?!?! Jigga who?!?! This is no lie! This guy actually said this. I couldn't make this up if I tried, nor would I want to). Wow, I have heard of scrapping the barrel for any sound argument, but this was utterly ridiculous! What the hell?!?! If that wasn't bad enough, the Repuklicans... err I mean Republicans (no personal attacks, right?) had an "Affirmative Action Bake Sale." Huh? The prices you were to pay for a cookie were based on your ethnicity. If you were White, you paid $1.50, Asian $1.25, Latino $.50, and Black $.25. Oh come on! Essentially they were making light of such a serious issue, in terms of minority enrollment on the UC Berkeley campus. Is that to say that I'm only worth a frickin' quarter? That my education, my life, my dreams, and goals are only worth on thin schilling? That's so sad, it's comical. Then to top that off, the biotches... err guys (watch the language Kat), had the nerve to ask Lan and I to partake in their Blatantly Insensitive Tasting of Cookie Hell (check the acronym! Ohhh I got skills!). Gee guys, this is where your parent's hard earned money is going eh? To make up wack-ass reasonings for serious issues, and to be insensitive of others situations. I thought in grade school, hell, even pre-school they teach you to respect one another and to be understanding. Looks like a whole gang of students missed out on that valuable life lesson. To make this situation even worse, there were tons of people on campus tours and elementary kids of all ethnicities visiting the campus. Are you telling them that they're not wanted here? And if you come, you cannot appreciate one another and have to split hairs and continue to live by that dance or bleed theory? Someone please explain. I jokingly told Lan that she could use me to get as many cookies as she wanted since it would be cheaper for me. I just hope that all people on the UC Berkeley campus will not buy into such insensitivity and utterly disgusting behavior or else I'll have to seriously consider my move to Canada, because if the Cal Republicans are any indication of what our future has to offer, let me bounce right now! Aw fuggit, the Cal Republicans are mark ass biotches!!! Schwartz told me to say that...heehee ;)

Oh, I forgot... ouch! Still aching a bit from the workout on Saturday! That's o.k. cuz it's gonna be all good in the end, as I always say to myself, and feel free to use this phrase also, "I'm gonna be da sh!t fo sho!" ;)
Joy for joy!!! Last night I got an e-mail from my really good friend Aimee, and she told me that she is coming back to the Bay in late March! Woohoo!!! She has been traveling up and down South and Central America for about 7 months and is gonna be returning soon. It is always wonderful to get her "massive" e-mails (Trust me when I say this, as they are always no less than 14k.), and it's a amzing that she still has the time to personally e-mail me! Sucha homie, and I can't wait to see her! :)
