All growed up...

My inner child is ten years old today

My inner child is ten years old!

The adult world is pretty irrelevant to me. Whether
I'm off on my bicycle (or pony) exploring, lost
in a good book, or giggling with my best
friend, I live in a world apart, one full of
adventure and wonder and other stuff adults
don't understand.

How Old is Your Inner Child?

Correspondence...

I love playing e-mail tag :)

ME: Hrmmm... I'm still confused, because when I e-mailed Catie, she told me that nothing was planned at 2 or 2:30... maybe that changed. I dunno, regardless I can't get there until 3... too much work to do on my end, but what else is new :(

O'Banagan: Who's working on your end? I thought that's why you danced, to work on your end...

Me: i always thought u were an idiot... that last e-mail solidified it... thank you for confirming my little theory... :P

O'Banagan: Aw shucks, maybe I should run for president then... ;)

O'Banagan for prez?!?! My ass is so up in Canada. Peace oot (out), eh?

Past Couple of Days...

Met up with O'Banagan to prepare for the fall semester. I am learning so much from the project I am on. Who knew that I could vibe with Russian folks?!?! The staff are really cool and they share so much with us. It's amazing and new, all rolled together. I just hope that semester goes smoothly.

Hung out with Tasha and Neema and got some new kicks. Oh yeah! K-Swiss are da shiznit!!! While in the mall parking lot, I stopped at a crosswalk to let a family pass by. The last kid, about 5 or so stuck her damn tongue out at me! What the hell?!?! I couldn't believe that shit. Many mean thoughts ran through my head:
flip her off, rev up my engine... told ya, mean shit.
I just wound up sticking out my tongue right back at her. Yeah, I'm so mature.
I did run into a much nicer kid later in Copelands. Not all little ones are demon seeds... thank God!
Other mall stuff... why are there no more heavy employees at Lane Bryant. Don't they know that's an esteem killer. Some slim chick passing you your size 24 stretch denim. Yeah, as if the mirror doesn't make you feel good enough about yourself. Hrmmmm, does this mean more plus size women will be at Victoria's Secret? I wonder...

Yesterday we had practice for the show that was today. I AM SOOOO HAPPY!!! Things turned out really well! Desiree, Mario, Bulli, Bup, Daniel, Ken, and Tai straight represented! I have watched the tape about a bazillion times... haha! It's was just so much fun to do something that we all love so dearly. DANCE! I am so glad the guys were juiced in their skills, and I know that they will only get better. And Desiree, mannnn, you just gotta see here. Such stage presence and confidence, which is trait that can be quite difficult to gain. But the girl has it. Today made my heart feel good.

After the show, me and the fam hung out at Red Robins. This was the first time in a long while that we did something together and all had a good laugh. I really, really, really wish we could do this more often.
