Holla if ya feel me…

So in the past post, I neglected to mention that I got a tattoo… and I wasn’t a punk about it… that thang is huge! It’s a commemorative tattoo for my grandma… it’s a butterfly (which she loved dearly) and three words that my mom, my bro, and my sis chose as descriptives of her. Initially, there were nine words, but a sistah only has so much canvas to work with, so to speak.
I’m lovin it! It’s cool to find something that is a lil rebellious, yet has a meaning and value that can only be respected and appreciated (especially by moms… hehe). So much for my tummy ring, which was mainly a motivator for me to work on my abs… go figure. I’m looking to get more tats in the future… I swear they are addictive! Perhaps I’ll get “Thug Life” tatted across my belly and a rose on my right boob. Now that’s damn sexay! But there is always the Mike Tyson route as well… so many decisions.

What to do… what to do…

So as of last week, I am done with my final project for school. All I have to do now is get the final report bounded and hand it over to the faculty on 5/15… woohoo! It’s weird. A lot of emotions and thoughts have been running through my head. Sadness, frustration, relief, happiness, anxiety… all at once! Ack… me no likey these feelings. So the past couple of days, I have been trying to find a variety of things to keep me busy… to replace the many nights and hours of needs assessments, theory, and PowerPoint slides. With this “free time,” I finally get to read for leisure… learn Espanol all over again (although the CD-Roms are annoying as hell)… do a bit of needlepoint… and dance… yay! Anywhos, I’m getting excited about and looking forward to what he future will hold… this is yet another milestone in many things to come…
