This and that...

Been running into folks here and there.. weird. I'll have been thinking about them and then all of a sudden I'll see them the next day. Hmmmm... maybe if I think of my husbands Benjamin Bratt and The Rock I'll see them soon.

Ran into Wing-Yin in Emeryville. I see this girl about once in a blue moon cuz she lives and works in the city like hella hours a week and almost everyday, plus goes to school on the weekend. Dayum! Every time I call her, she's either about to go to sleep or wake up... haha. I miss her. I wish I could kick it with her more often.

Yay! Ana T worked all day long with us yesterday and we got to roll in the Benzo to lunch. It's nice when someone has your back, professionally and personally. I thank her for that.

Got to have dinner with Aimee last night. Mann, now this is someone I hadn't seen in a long as time. I live vicariously through her cuz she is a big time globetrotter. Earlier this year, she was in in India for six months and prior to that, she traveled South and Central America. Dayum. She currently has a job working with low-income families and cares for 3-4 year olds at a few centers in the Mission. Much respect for doing that!

Dinh is hella funny. She called my cell last nite and left no message. Then she called again with a nervous and cuss latent message cuz she was trying to tell me about her B-day get together tonite, while getting out of a tight parking space at the same time. "Hey Brown, shit, damn, ummm, I'm just calling you about.. wait, goddammit! Oh, about my birthday get together in Berkeley. Call me... what the hell!" HAHAHAHA! I had to save that one. I called Tina and Ana, so hopefully some of the old school crew will get to kick it tonite. I need it.

Saw my ISF advisor when I was walking up Telegraph. "Hi Prof. ISF" His response: "Hey You!" Yay. Figures how much he remembered me. For a letter of rec to grad school he only wrote two lines. Again, yay.

Ran into three of my 2002 Bridgees. Shit, they're third years now. Dayum, I'm hella old. Doesn't help that one called me that too. Stinky! ;P

Random girl stuff: Had lunch with Ana T.,but when I got back to the office, I didn't realize that I had curry sauce on my right boob. Woohoo!! My Janet Jackson moment for the day. Just gives an extra excuse for guys to stare. Other boob related items, Ana T. and Dinh had an awesome idea: PDA-able boobs. They said that whenever they are in a situation in which they need a bit more enhancement, they would upload some of mine. Leaving me boobless. Yay. Technology may not be that far off I suppose.

Feelings...

It's funny how things strike you. Today, I just had the feeling that I just needed to call Tina to see how she was doing. This girl is actually like a little sister in some aspects, and I worry about her from time to time because she does so much. Work nearly full-time and school full-time, plus she is paying her own way. Amazing. Anywho, I stopped by her job to say hi before I got something to eat, and I'm glad I did. She had just found out that a dear friend of hers had passed away. It's truly a sad situation. The woman was so young. I would see her from time to time and she was such a sweet person. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, and for Tina to stay strong.
